![]() The program provides for traps, rabies and distemper vaccinations, feline leukemia testing and neutering of all trapped cats. Their authority was established by ordinance and their plan is actually an enforceable regulation that establishes membership, authority, responsibility and a budget to control the populations of feral cats. This group was formed in response to resident concerns and complaints about feral cat colonies. ![]() In addition to providing for a robust regulatory program to monitor the companion and wildlife animal population in the Township, the Township of Brick has an active "Trap, Neuter, Release" program to control the feral cat populations in the municipality. These animal issues in the community were addressed by informing the citizens of ,Brick while also providing a "caregiver agreement responsibilities" form. Meanwhile, wildlife and companion animal issues remain to be a priority concern with our municipality, based on feral cat communities. Program Summary: Programs throughout the community are ongoing education and outreach provided by third-party organizations.
